Yale, aside from being a member of the Ivy League, is also one of the most prominent universities not just in the United States of America but in the whole world. It is the third oldest institution in the USA, established in the early 1700s. Lux et veritas is the motto of the university which translates to light and truth in English. Yale is located in New Haven, Connecticut and with almost 4,000 teachers and staff, and almost 16,000 students overall.
Just like other universities and schools, Yale University is represented by the color blue, with Handsome Dan as the school mascot.
