Summer Graduate Course
to teach teachers how to teach kids about the environment. A two
week, 3 credit hour course (ED 634) through the Clemson University
Graduate School has been offered in four previous summers with a
total of approximately 90 students.
Lesson Plans developed
by teachers attending ED634 have been compiled and published.
Various supplementary curriculum
available to South Carolina teachers - Action for a Cleaner Tomorrow,
Teaching KATE, Project Learning Tree, Project Aquatic Wild, Project
Wet, and Project Wild - are correlated with the SC Science Standards
by grade level.
